What does it take for an honest man to get involved in something scrupulous?Robert Principe's father is a hardworking blue-collar man who put his son through law school. In fact, he was so proud of Bobby that he hired a limousine to take the entire family to his graduation. Grant you - it was not any law school - Columbia University.Most of Bobby's classmates got jobs at prestigious law firms and worked long hours. Bobby, on the other hand, decided to open his own law office just a few blocks from where he grew up. Bobby thought he could depend on clients coming from the construction business where his father earned a living. Things did not go as expected and Bobby was having a hard time trying to make ends meet.To make matters worse, his wife surprised him with the news that she was pregnant. What was he going to do now? Bobby always believed in the law and being honest. Now he was getting desperate.Bobby contacted his cousin Jackie who worked for the mob helping them collect debts that were due. They came up with a plan that involved fraud. Bobby would get his share and Jackie would get the money owed to the mob. Bobby decided he wanted out of this "arrangement" but when his sister came to live with him it meant having another person to support. Maybe he can handle just one more fraud case to help out and then quit. There is one problem - the mob does not like for you to quit! After several false claims, the FBI gets suspicious.Will Bobby be able to get out before it is too late? Is his life in danger?All I can say is "THIS IS ONE TERRIFIC BOOK". Nick Santora has written a novel that will draw the reader in from the very first page and keep them there until the very end. Nick Santora has written for "The Sopranos" and this should give us a clue as to how talented he is as a writer. Bobby is a character that you will like even though he is getting involved in some bad situations and you will almost feel sorry for him. This is a fast paced book and does not slow down.
